Some say that the ancient Mayan civilization believed the world would end in 2012. Other people say the Mayans did not believe this. We are on the brink of discovering who is right. In the meantime, we can make art in celebration of this auspicious event.

Q&A Blog Hopping

I was recently asked by artist Svenja Wahl to participate in a "Blog Hop" Q&A. It was started by Susanna from Planet Susanna (http://leben-und-kleben.blogspot.de/) and it means posting the answers to four questions on a certain date together with an invitation to three blogging friends to do the same.

Here are the questions and my answers that are part of the project.

What am I working on?
At present, I am working on producing 25 original collages for a zine that a friend is going to put together.

How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I don't think my work differs radically, I suppose if I had to give an answer, it would be that I almost always work directly from ideas or suggestions kicked upstairs by my subconscious.

Why do I write/create what I do?
What the hell else would I do!

How does your writing/creating process work?
For the most part, I rely on my intuition and subconscious to ignite an idea, hopefully, I'm able to work it to completion.
